Nowadays, in the times of the Internet, computers and other electrical gadgets people are very much handicapped when it comes to manual works. I remember that when I was younger my father used to repair everything by himself. What is more, he even used to make his own things, for example, chairs and tables for our house. He believed that if an object is not that hard to make, there is no sense in buying it. I think that his point might have been a very accurate one, but in today"s world, I highly doubt that anyone has this kind of mindset. To be honest, I do not have this kind of mindset myself and frankly speaking, I do not like it. Moreover, I have to admit that when it comes to manual work I am absolutely horrid and I cannot do the simplest things. Few days ago my child"s baby cots had been devastated by my dog. Apparently my dog thought that this baby cots was a nice toy for him and he used it as his toy destroying it almost completely. I mean, I know that it could have been fixed but I had no idea how to fix it. I am terrible when it comes to fixing something and I am clearly ashamed of it because I am a man and I should know how to repair a baby cots because it cannot be that hard after all.
